P: Something I didn’t know yesterday, but I know today is….

M: Hmm something I didnt know yesterday but I know today would be that school starts in like three weeks!! Its crazy how fast summer has gone by. I dont want it to end!

P: If you could shop at any store, what would it be and what would you buy?

T: I’m sort of a nerd. So I guess I’d have to say Hastings. I’m not sure what I would buy. But every time I go into that store I come out with at least one book.

P: Where is your favorite place to eat lunch and why?

T: My favorite place to eat lunch is probably the Wenatchee McDonalds. For one, they’re cheap. For another, I’ve got a lot of great memories with friends there.

P: Describe your dream Job. If you could do anything for a living what would it be?

T: My dream job is to be the owner of a business. More like a Casino. Partly because I’m Native American. I think that could be fun. Not that I’ve ever been in one.

P: Name one of your passions in life:

T: Well, I couldn’t think of anything. But my parents say my passion would be studying. Ha.

P: Who do you look up to the most and why?

T: The person I look up to the most would have to be my mother. She had a rough start in her life. But she never gave up. She’s been nothing but supportive to me and my other siblings.

P: Do you like to cook?

T: Just when I’m in the mood.

P: Sometimes I wish that I could just…

T: Fly away, and travel the world.

P: What one thing would you change in your life if you had the power to do so?

T: I would change the size of my room. It just doesn’t feel like it’s exactly big enough.

P: What was your favorite pastime this summer?

T: My favorite pastime this summer would have to be the day me and my friends had this huge water fight in the middle of a restaurant. It started off as a friend filling her squirt gun with soda and spraying me. But it eventually led us to the bathroom and from there on; it was chaos.

P: What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

S: The most important event of my life so far is probably going into high school. It’s the scariest and most exciting experience, and almost everyone experiences it. Since i’m only 17 there hasn’t been too many amazing events in my life yet, but going into high school changes so many things and opens up so many doors and helps shape who you will become.

P: If you could wake up tomorrow and wish one thing in your life be different, what would that one thing be?

S: That i had an unlimited supply of money! Money can’t buy you happiness but it can make you never worry about materialistic things ever again! You can pay off everything and give to charities and help people and it can let you buy the things you NEED to buy.

P: Name one thing you miss about being a kid:

S: Never having to worry about anything and not having a care in the world! Except what new toys were coming out or when my favorite tv show was on. It was so simple, you obviously don’t have the privileges of being an adult but you also don’t have the worries.

P: List 5 goals on your life’s to-do list:

S: Meet every rockstar I aspire to be, Drive across/around the country, Go on a safari, Have music be a huge part of my life, Own a sea otter!

P: What is your all time favorite joke?

S: My Dad. He’s a huge jokester, so basically all the jokes he says are my favorite jokes!

P: What is your biggest pet peeve?

S: I have a couple: When people start breaking before putting their turn signal on, when they are turning. When someone lies because they think it will hurt less then just telling someone the truth. And being late, or saying you’ll be somewhere at a certain time when you know you’ll be late but you say earlier so the person won’t get mad.

P: What is one thing you want to accomplish for yourself this year?

S: Absolutley amazing grades! And to enjoy my senior year more than any year in my life, and ZERO drama!

P: Do you have any celebrity crushes?

S: Of course! And Rockstar crushes, proabably more than celebrities. There are a lot to name, so i’ll spare the insanely long list!

P: Are you a dog person or a cat person?

S: Dog! Cats are cute, but big dogs rock! Mine is an English Mastiff so she’s giant!

P: I am happiest when…

S: I’m listening to music i enjoy and my belly is full =)

P: List 5 goals on your life’s to-do list:

A: Five life goals I would have would be to Graduate high school, graduate college, get married, have kids, and retire I guess.

P: If you were given 1 million dollars, what do you spend it on?

A: If I had a million dollars i would spend it on myself.

P: What has been your biggest mistake and what did you learn from it?

A: My biggest mistake is probably contradicting anything my mom says lol

P: What is your favorite movie genre?

A: I really like thriller movies.

P: Do you have any celebrity crushes?

A: I’m a guy I don’t do that sort of thing.

P: What is your biggest pet peeve?

A: I have a big pet peeve of keeping my room in indecent shape.

P: You’re about to walk the green mile…. what do you have as your last meal?

A: Panda Express all the way.

P: Who has had the most influence in your life?

A: This might sound like a cliche but my mom.

P: What are your criteria for finding a college/university next year?

A: I don’t really have a criteria since i haven’t really thought about it

P: What is your motto in life?

A: You can never eat enough food.

P: I hear you recently had the opportunity to be a part of  Jr. Miss State this Summer. How would you describe your experience?

A: My experience at Junior Miss State (now known as Distinguished Young Women) was unbelievable. The program is so wonderful and really pushes each individual girl to be her very best self. Everything pushed me to my limit and challenged me but at the same time was so rewarding and fun. I met so many wonderful people (especially the other girls) that I will never forget.  I was able to walk away with a second-runner up spot and $1,200 in scholarships from the state level, which was great, but that is the least of what I gained. I now know how to ace an interview, walk with poise, dance my heart out, and be completely confident in the person God made me to be. So, in one word how my experience was : life changing.

P: What’s the best advice you could give someone?

A: The best advice I could give someone is to be confident in who they are. I have struggled with that concept for so long and I’m still working towards it today, but if you are confident in who you are and your decisions then you have a life with no regrets.

P: Where is your favorite place to each lunch and why?

A: My favorite place to eat lunch is my Grandma’s. She is such an amazing cook and as soon as you walk through her door, no matter what time of day, she has food for you to eat. GOOD FOOD. The conversations I’ve had while eating lunch with her are ones that I will never forget. What’s better than a good meal and great company right?

P: Most hated chore on the household chore list?

A: cleaning the bathroom..ick.

P: What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

A: I have ice-cream every night before I go to bed

P: What inspires you?

A: My papa inspires me. He has always and will always be my best friend. Never have I met another person so wise and so full of love. His constant hand on my back helping me grow up has made me into the young woman I am today. He makes me want to do everything 110%. He passed away four years ago, but even today I know he’s still here supporting me in everything I do.

P: When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?

A: At the Distinguished Young Women State program. My roommate and I were rehearsing the program really late at night and our host mom screamed in her sleep. When I turned around to look at my roomie she had ran into our room and hid in the closet. It made for a great laugh once we made sure everyone was ok.

P: What are a few of your guilty pleasures?

A: Well, ice-cream for sure since I have it every night. Something not food related… romance novels haha cheesy right?

P: Three reasons to smile?

A: 1) i know that someone loves me 2) some day I’ll get to see my papa again 3) I’M FINALLY A SENIOR !!

P: What is something you still plan on doing before the Summer ends?

B: I still plan on going to Warped Tour before summer is over.

P: PC or Mac?

B: I am a PC.

P: If you could have any super power what would it be?

B: I would have the power to spawn any kind of food I wanted. Mostly because I am hungry right now and food sounds amazing.

P: What are your two favorite websites right now?

B: I dig Facebook and Twitter.

B: My favorite famous quote is “I pity the fool” from Mr.T.

P: What one thing would you change in your life if you had the power to do so?

B: I would change my allergies if I could. I’m allergic to so many things it sucks!

P: If you could have any car in the world, what would it be?

B: If I could have any car in the world, I would have a Dodge Viper v10 convertible, red with twin 22 inch subs and some sort of amazing deck for rocking out with.

P: What are your plans for next year once you graduate?

B: After I graduate, I plan on going to the North Bend Fire Academy then to Spokane Community College to get my AA in Fire Science and my EMT license.

P: What are you looking forward to the most this year?

M: This year I am going to be very involved in my school community, more so than in my past few years. I am in ASB, and I’m also an editor for our yearbook. I am really looking forward to hopefully being able to take those outlets and use them to add some more spice to WHS, and really get to know the kids at my school.

P: If there was an extra hour in the day, what would you spend it doing?

M: If I had that time I’d most likely want to hang out with my buddies. Or I’d take that 60 minutes to start writing a dictionary of all the weird and chimerical words my friends and I have invented. We tend to put aside the traditional English language and make up our own words for things. Like…”weeble.” Infinite amounts of brownie points go to the person who knows what that is.

P: Favorite milkshake and where do you get it?

M: Well, once upon a time I worked at Baskin Robbins, so I was given the opportunity to try out an abundance of ice cream flavors in milkshake form. My favorite would have to be Gold Medal Ribbon. Mmm. That’s got a little bit of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel all swirled together in delicious delight.

P: This week I will…

M: Go on a bike ride with my new bike I got for my birthday! It is also very likely that I will discover a new band or song that I like from Youtube browsing. This will happen when I forget to ask for a DECAF coffee and can’t go to sleep until late. (: And aside from those, I will most likely end up doing something entirely spontaneous that I have no idea of at the moment. That tends to happen quite frequently.

P: Name one thing that’s on your “must do” list this Summer:

M: Believe it or not, my friend and I actually made a “Summer To-Do List” at the end of the school year, consisting of 45 hopeful summer accomplishments. Let’s see, there is number 8: Go on a bike ride dressed as Indians. And number 25: Engage in an epic squirt gun/ water balloon war involving a trampoline.

P: What material possession do you hold most valuable?

M: It’s probably a close tie between my cell phone and car. (Sorry for the incredibly stereotyped teenage response.) But both of those allow me to stay in good communication with everyone, and it would be hard to lose them for that reason.

P: What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?

M: Hands down my friends and my family. I get up in the morning (crazy hair and all) because of my love for them. They are my inspiration and motivation, and every day I wake up hoping to make sure that they know just how awesome they are.

P: If you could make one wish today, what would you wish for?

M: Well, world peace would be nice but I don’t want to sound like I’m in a pageant. But I’d probably wish that every person would be given the chance to follow their dream. There isn’t a person out there who should be denied the chance to find their passion.

P: If you were going to a remote place, and had to add a play-list to your iPOD of all of your favorite songs, what top five songs would you make sure you added?

M: Oh boy….my musical mood changes so frequently it’s hard to say. But I’d probably go with these:

1. Don’t Stop Believing- Glee Cast (I’d need some inspiration when stuck in a remote place).

2. City Trucks- Paper Route (Loved it the first time I heard it).

3. The Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Song (Remote place? I definitely need a fight song)!

4. Use Somebody- Tyrone Wells (To remember the definition of a BRILLIANT male voice).

5. Defying Gravity- Wicked Soundtrack (My musical-nerd self couldn’t go without at least one of them).

P: What’s the happiest memory you have with your BFF?

P: What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

S: I am very motherly. I love to cook, sew, and scrapbook. I also love doing my sister’s hair and nails.

P: If there was an extra hour in the day, what would you spend it doing?

S: I would spend that extra hour in bed sleeping with my super comfy and fuzzy pink blanket.

P: What is the best memory you have with your family?

S: When my family and I went on a 37 hour train ride to California for a vacation for spring break one year. We stayed in the most incredible resort and were able to spend a lot of quality time together as a family which is very rare for a family of eight. We visited many theme parks and got to see my cousins that live down there.

P: Name one of your passions in life:

L: One passion in my life is to be kind to everyone. We never know what someone is experiencing in their own life, so being kind can make all the difference in one person’s life. Being kind to people also makes me a happier person all around.

P: What are your plans for next year?

L: My plans for after graduation are to attend BYU Utah and to study either dental hygiene or fitness. Also to work in order to pay for college.

P: I am happiest when…

L :I am hanging out with my friends and family. We can have an amazing time doing just about anything.

P: Name one thing you miss about being a kid:

L: One thing I miss about being a kid is that when you’re a kid everyone is so accepting. Kids can be friends with anyone and everyone. They aren’t worried about how they look, or how they act (unless they are mean). Kids just want to have a good time together.

P: What was your favorite part of your Senior Portrait experience?

L: I enjoyed working with the photographers. I thought it was funny because I naturally smile all the time. So when they told me to be serious they would also say never mind, smile.

P: Most hated chore on the household chore list?

L: Cleaning out the kitty litter box!! It’s gross and smells! That and yard work, it’s hard work and sweaty! Bleh!

P: Name an instrument you’ve never played but would like to:

L: I would love to learn to play the guitar! They sound so pretty, and I would love to be able to play songs on the guitar and be able to sing them as well.

P: What one thing would you change in your life if you had the power to do so?

L: I wish I could be the kind of person who can go up to any random stranger and have a conversation like I have known them for years. I’m naturally quiet at first when meeting new people, and I would love to be more confident. I am actually working right now on improving in this area.

P: Favorite kind of pizza and where you like to get it?

L: I love pepperoni pizza from Papa Murpheys!

P: What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

L: I try to make everything in my life meaningful so a few events are, One: Being the State vault champion in gymnastics, Two: our family reunions at Ventura Beach in California, and Three: Anything that made me closer to my family and friends.

P: If you could go on a road trip with any person (dead or alive), who would you choose and where would you go?
C: My close friends, just because there isn’t anyone better to with. Road trip= anywhere

P: What is one of your guilty pleasures?
C: hmmmm i love my energy drinks, even though everyone tells me that they are horrible for a persons body, i get at least one every week.
